The weekend didn’t quite come off as planned, but 4 days of generally relaxing was entirely worth it.
Went to The Garden on Sunday night, and had a good time. Saw some unexpected faces and said hello. Unfortunately a metric crapload of people I’d hoped to see there weren’t able to make it for various (and good) reasons. I’m definitely hoping Teh Fiendish One ™ is able to throw another one when she ventures back our way!
This week, my plan is to ensure I have my gym stuff with me every day, and hit the gym after work. This whole ‘go to the gym after going home’ schtick doesn’t work even a little. I’ve managed to fall completely off the workout horse, and it’s time to climb back on. I liked the way I felt after working out, and the progress I was making. I definitely don’t want to be slipping any further back than I have. So it’s time to kick my own ass back into gear.
I also really need to make an appointment with my doctor re a breathing issue that just will *not* go away. Nothing serious, but I don’t think any of you are terribly interested in the gory and colourful details as you enjoy your morning coffee
And speaking of coffee, it’s almost that time! June is when the new crops start coming in, so in a few weeks I’ll have the excitement of new tasty coffees. I love the two coffees I’ve been making for the last few months, but variety yada yada yada *grin*
Well, I should probably get myself tidied up and presentable for work. I think I’ve got my work week mostly figured out re tasks, and hope to eliminate an item or two that has been plaguing my to do list for ages. Just needed to break them out into more manageable chunks.
