Before I get this kicked off, this is the area I was chasing in.
I initially started the afternoon further east than I should have. I’d seen the system near Olds, but had anticipated that the supercell would actually *move* and wanted to be sure I got out in front of it rather than spend all my time trying to catch up. Whoops! That thing just parked itself about 10km west of Olds and powered up.
This was my first good clear view of the supercell.
From that point on, the day was pure win. Saw funnel clouds and a tornado, beautiful and awe inspiring supercell structures…
